Memorial donations

Memorial donations in Jeannette's memory may be sent to the following three
organizations:

SIERRA CLUB
In keeping with Jeannette's dogged commitment to exposing the lies and
follies of the Bush administration, she left a generous bequest to the
Sierra Club. Like Jeannette, the Sierra Club provides on-line information
about the Bush administration's attempts to dismantle our environmental
safeguards. If you want to receive the Club's twice-weekly email, "Raw:
the Uncooked Facts of the Bush Assault on the Environment" log onto
www.sierraclub.org/raw/subscribe.asp

Gifts in Jeannette's memory can be made to:

Sierra Club Memorial Gifts
Attention: Pamela Simonds

San Francisco, CA 94105

With over 700,000 members, Sierra Club is America's oldest, largest and
most influential grass roots environmental organization. Because of the
Club's lobbying and political work, contributions to it are not
tax-deductible. If you prefer, you can make a tax-deductible gift to:

The Sierra Club Foundation
85 Second Street, Suite 750
San Francisco, CA 94105

THE MICHOACAN REFORESTATION FUND (donations are tax-deductible)
This group reforests in and around the Monarch Butterfly's overwintering
sites by providing high quality trees to the local communities in the states
of Michoacan and Mexico, Mexico. Donations may be sent to:

Bob Small

Margitta said many cat rescue groups work with one another and share
resources. If one group is overwhelmed or short of cash, traps, volunteers
or catfood, the others chip in and help. Helping any cat rescue/adoption
association is helping them all and any donation helps abandoned cats in the
East Bay.
