Arnold watch
From Jackson Thoreau, the man who sent OaklandNews the story on Arnold the Groper:
"Did you see the stories on Arnold's nude photos by Mapplethorpe? Personally, it doesn't bother me that he'd pose for such photos. It's just hypocritical for Republicans who supported cutting federal funding for the arts because of Mapplethorpe's work to now overlook this link between Mapplethorpe and Schwarzenegger. At least McClintock still has some scruples to stay in the race.
If you haven't seen this story, it's here. Drudge broke it and said Mapplethorpe considered Schwarzenegger one of his favorite subjects.
Elsewhere, I'm still hearing from numerous women who say the Terminator sexually harassed or assaulted them. And these occurred not in the 1970s, but a few years ago when Schwarzenegger was married and had kids. Another key tidbit that hasn't received much focus is Schwarzenegger's meeting with Karl Rove at the White House in April. And people still believe the White House isn't pulling Schwarzenegger's strings in this matter? "
Thanks Jackson, we couldn't agree with you more.
why do you persist in the constant slander of Arnold's good name? "Arnold the groper"? Cmon, that is hardly an unbiased stance for an online "political newspaper". you need to step back off your moral high horse and take another long look not at Arnie, but at your approach to his apparent "misconduct" and see whether it is blown way out of proportion by your petty attempt at slanderous propaganda, or whether you have personal issues which are closely related to the accusations against Arnie.
maybe that is where the answer to all this petty name calling lies.
Posted by: Johnny E. America on October 3, 2003 01:30 AMWho ever said I wsa unbiased about the recall election? Or about Arnold? I have always thought that
the recall was a Karl Rove orchestrated sham, direct and dirty from the White House.
Possibly you ought to read yesterday's Los Angeles Times story which confirms many of the earlier stories about Groping Arnold. Then maybe you'd be a little more careful about allegations of "slander."
Arnold the Groper, Arnold the Pig -- it doesn't much matter what he's called, he's still unfit to be governor.
Guess where "Johnny E. America" is posting from?
Dublin City University! If you recall his earlier posts, both under this name and Aido McBane, then so
much is suddenly clear. Young Irish males are not known for having a clue about women, and Johnny/Aido reinforces the ages old stereotype.
Try to keep those knuckles from scraping on the ground, Johnny/Aido!

Have you ever heard of spoofing? Anyone can appear to be posting from anywhere in the world. You are a fool if you think you have made any kind of point here. Look at me, I'm at the University of Arizona! Or am I?
Personally, I'm not as concerned about Arnold's sexual abuse of women, his admiration for Hitler, his support for Nazis or his pandering to the gay community to boost his popularity by posing for homo-erotic Mapplethorpe photos.
What I'm worried about is the Arnold is in bed with ENRON!
The real reason that the Republicans are backing a pot smoking closet homosexual with delusions of being as popular a Hitler is that they're confident he will continue the California energy swindle.

On May 17, 2001 Arnold attended a secret meeting called by Ken Lay to stop the 9 billion dollar refund to Californians. He now claims he can't remember the meeting.
“It turns out that Schwarzenegger knowingly joined the hush-hush encounter as part of a campaign to sabotage a Davis-Bustamante plan to make Enron and other power pirates then ravaging California pay back the $9 billion in illicit profits they carried off.”
Cruz Bustamante would make the power companies return the $9 billion they filched from California electricity and gas customers. The Repugs can't have this. They're counting on the gullibility and the ignoracne of Californians to elect the charismatic Schwarzenegger. Once he's in office he'll pave the way for Enron to pay only 2 cents on the dollar - or nothing at all. If Californians are stupid enough to elect Schwarzenegger, then maybe the deserve the royal skrewing they're about to get.
Arnold was overly "friendly" (a groping, lecherous, short, old man) with 16 year old girls when he was in Astoria, OR filming Kindergarten cops in the hot tub at the local gym. The guy makes my skin crawl. There were four of us girls there......we're 30 now and we'll never forget how disgusting we found him back in 1990. I can't stand to see him with his wife and kids and I'd hate to see him as governor! What a poor choice!
Posted by: oregonian on October 5, 2003 11:33 PMIn Schwarzenegger's autobiography, he said he initially viewed women as "sex objects ... here for one reason. Sex was simply another kind of exercise."
