Those Fireworks? That's Your Temper Going Off
An OPD source sent this painful item to OaklandNews: "Jerry has required the already stretched-to-the-limit Area One patrol to supply two (not just one!) walking officers just to patrol the vicinity around the new building he moved into on Telegraph and 27th. He even demanded a meeting recently with "my officers"
because he wanted "to see them around more." Ah Jerry. Always able to show how in tune he is with the common person.
August 23rd: The Trib ran a glowing story today about
how Jerry is kicking butt in order to make his new neighborhood a nicer place for him to live.
They didn't mention that Jerry has effectively stolen an extra cop just for his benefit.
The article did mention that neighbors are pissed that it has taken Jerry so long to recognize that there's a problem in Oakland. OaklandNews is plenty teed off that Jerry (or any other mucky-muck) can get special favors, speedy favors, too, that you and I can't.
And no one ever mentions that Dharma is Ann Gust's dog and that Jerry is never seen cleaning up after it.
